The Story
It was my trip to Seattle in 2006 to visit Primo Jay where I got to try my first "real" chai tea. This tea came in three separate bags: the big chunks of cinnamon and ashwagandha, smaller spices and black tea to finish it off. This chai tea took a few hours to make after simmering all of the spices in order of size. Since then, companies like Blue Lotus Chai and Oregon Chai have made chai a LOT easier to make for the casual consumer. Inspired by the sweet less-caffeinated alternative to lattes you'll see in most cafes these days, we present, Reishi Chai Latte. This Oat Milk white chocolate is made with stone ground, heirloom oat flour grown and milled by Hickory Wind Farm in Buskirk NY. With no caffeine, you can enjoy this white chocolate bar late into the night, in a cozy bubble bath, a cabin in the woods by a fire or watching your favorite rerun.
